Friday, May 17th was the last day to check materials out of the library. ALL library items are due back by Friday, May 31st so that end of the year inventory may be completed.
The first truly public digital library went live on April 18th. The purpose is to digitize America’s little known archives and share them with the public. There are medieval manuscripts, 19th century newspapers, daguerreotypes of African slaves, newsreels from most of the last century and more.
The collection is a continuing work in progress, with new material appearing everyday. It’s an awesome new resource!
